Industrial Affiliates Program In 2000, the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department launched the Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) to promote interaction between the Department and major civil and environmental engineering companies. From awarding fellowships for graduate students, to offering competitive packages to prospective faculty, to retaining our current staff of outstanding professors, and finally to upgrading the teaching and research laboratories and equipment, industrial affiliate advocacy is critical for both engaging and meeting the Department’s top priorities and truly makes a discernible difference. Representatives of IAP member companies also are invited to offer technical seminars and recruit our excellent undergraduate and graduate students. Interested companies participate annually at the Benefactor level ($3000), Patron level ($1500) or Member level ($750). In recognition of their gracious support, we offer links to our IAP partners. We will continue to expand the IAP program in the years to come.
