CEE-227 Numerical Methods In Geotechnical Engineering: Graduate course with a special emphasis on the application of Finite Element and Finite Difference techniques for solutions to static and dynamic geotechnical problems.
CEE-123 Advanced Geotechnical Engineering: Undergraduate course focusing on the design of earth and concrete dams, including seepage by Finite Element Method, piping, drain design, and slope stability analyses (including rapid drawdown). Additional special geotechnical topics covered include design of slope stabilization using soil nails, rock bolts, hydro-consolidation and expansive soils.
