We are delighted to announce the establishment of the William WG Yeh Fellowship in Hydrology and Water Resources, a testament to Professor Yeh’s dedication. Professor Yeh has generously committed $500,000 to the UCLA foundation, creating an enduring endowment within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science.

“The William WG Yeh Fellowship in Hydrology and Water Resources will support one or more graduate student(s) conducting research in hydrology and water resources in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.”

The fellowship aims to provide support for graduate students engaged in research in the field of hydrology and water resources, operating under the guidance of the Chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Professor Yeh expressed his satisfaction, stating, “It gives me great satisfaction to play a vital role in advancing UCLA’s mission of research, education, and public service.”
