We are delighted to announce that Professor Jennifer Jay has been selected to receive the 2024 Undergraduate Research Week Faculty Mentor Award! This prestigious award highlights the significant contributions of faculty members who have profoundly impacted undergraduate research and career exploration.
Dr. Jay was nominated by three of her research students, who commended her for her unwavering availability and invaluable guidance. One student noted, “Dr. Jay has always gone above and beyond to be available for questions and guidance, which has been essential in developing a sense of assurance in my skills as a researcher.”
Out of 68 nominations, a committee of faculty and staff selected 19 distinguished faculty members for this award. We are proud to celebrate Dr. Jay’s achievement and dedication to mentoring our students.
